Moga is a newly formed district of Punjab with a prominent historical background. The district itself is the proud land of Lala Lajpat Rai’s birth. Dhudhike Falls the native village of Lalaji is a part of Moga district. It was a sub division of Faridkot for a long time. Takhtupura is a spiritual shrine, located 5 km east from Nihalsinghvala in Moga is known for three separate shrines dedicated to Guru Nanak, Guru Gobind Singh and Guru Hargobind.
